AI Ready RVA tracks four categories of outcome.
Reach is the simplest. How many events we hold, how many people register, how many attend, and how many unique individuals we have served across all programming. Reach is necessary but it is not impact. Filling a room proves demand, not results.
Learning is what people leave with. We survey participants after programming and track whether they report increased confidence, whether they use what they learned, and whether they come back. Net Promoter Score and Voice of Customer measures are reported to our Board quarterly by our Treasurer.
Workforce outcomes are the hardest and the most important. Completions, credentials earned, wage changes, and job placements. This is where AI literacy stops being educational and starts being economic. We are building the tracking infrastructure for this now, aligned to the U.S. Department of Labor's AI Literacy Framework, and we are not going to claim numbers before we can stand behind them.
Regional readiness is the longest horizon. We are developing a Regional AI Readiness Index to measure how prepared Greater Richmond actually is, so the region has a demand signal rather than a guess.
A word about how we handle data. Cumulative lifetime figures and trailing twelve-month figures are different things, and organizations that blur them are usually hiding something. Our Treasurer verifies every financial and participation figure before it appears in an external document. If a number is not on this page, it is because we have not confirmed it, not because it is unflattering.
