The challenge is getting from the idea to something real. AI Ready RVA is partnering with Cursor for a hands-on workshop designed specifically for product managers, product owners, business analysts, designers, founders, and professionals who work closely with software teams. Cursor is an AI-powered development workspace that helps you move from requirements to a structured plan and from a structured plan to a working prototype. You do not need to know how to write code. You do need to understand the problem you are trying to solve, be comfortable using AI tools, and be willing to work inside a technical environment. This session will show you how to use Cursor to make product conversations more concrete, strengthen engineering handoffs, explore how existing systems work, and test ideas before committing significant time or resources. What You Will Learn During this workshop, you will learn how to: Turn a feature idea into a structured implementation plan Build and refine an interactive prototype using natural-language instructions Use Ask Mode to understand an existing feature or codebase Use Plan Mode to identify requirements, dependencies, and technical considerations Create stronger user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria Explore how a product works before requesting changes Use Cursor with tools such as Jira, Notion, Confluence, Figma, and Slack Understand where AI-generated prototypes add value and where human review is still required What to Expect This is a working session, not a traditional presentation. The Cursor team will guide participants through a product development workflow using a safe demonstration project. You will see how an idea moves from an initial request to a structured plan and working prototype.
