2026-07-16 · CarMax Park — 2929 N Arthur Ashe Blvd, Richmond, VA 23220
July 16 is National AI Appreciation Day. AI Ready RVA is marking the occasion — and its second year — at CarMax Park on Arthur Ashe Boulevard. Two years ago, a small group of Richmond professionals decided that AI literacy was not a technology problem. It was a community problem. Since then, AI Ready RVA has run cohorts across healthcare, nonprofit, product management, and advanced manufacturing. More than 500 people across Greater Richmond have come through our programs, events, and conversations. This birthday bash is a chance to meet the people behind that work, celebrate what the community has built, and talk honestly about where the region goes from here. This is not a conference. There are no panels, no keynotes, no agenda to sit through. It is two hours at one of Richmond's most distinctive venues, with the cross-sector community that has made AI Ready RVA what it is. Business leaders, educators, government professionals, nonprofit directors, and startup founders all show up at our events. This one is no different. Come ready to meet people doing the work.
This event took place on Jul 16, 2026 in Greater Richmond and has already happened. AI Ready RVA runs free and member events across the region every month — see the upcoming events calendar for the next session, or explore our industry cohorts to keep learning between events.
